A task force adopts new guidelines to restrict pharmaceutical gifts to doctors
The guidelines adopted by the Association of American Medical Colleges aren't very strong and don't prohibit much, but they would pressure medical schools to prohibit "ghostwriting" research and ban some gifts given to physicians and staff by pharmaceutical companies.
