Court enforces Covenant not to Compete in employee's contract

Steve Lesoski signed a covenant not to compete when he went to work for  Brown Dairy Equipment, Inc.  Four years later he left Brown to work for a competitor and immediately began soliciting farmer/clients for the new employer.  Brown sought enforcement of the covenant through a preliminary injunction, which was granted by the trial judge.  On appeal, the Court of Appeals upheld the injunction, finding that the three-year covenant for a limited region (the court did not define or explain the actual geographic region) was "reasonable."
