Court holds that fee agreements may contain arbitration clause, fraud claim dismissed
Simonne VandeKerckhove sued her attorney, Richard Scarfone, alleging malpractice and fraud. She also argued that the arbitration clause in the fee agreement was invalid. The Court found no issue with including an arbitrration clause in a contract for legal services and no evidence to support the client's claims of fraud and malpractice.
