Court upholds exclusion for damage caused by ice and wind

Dennis and Elaine Kibby suffered $28,000.00 dollars in damage to their home after wind and ice shifted it off the foundation. The insurer, Auto-Owners, argued that the damage was excluded because all damages caused to a home foundation by any form of ice or wind were excluded in the insurance policy. The Court of Appeals upheld the application of the exclusion.
