CPSC recalls 2.1 million drop-side cribs
It was widely reported today that the Consumer Product Safety Commission had recalled nearly all the drop-side cribs manufactured by Stork Craftsince 1993. The CPSC cited 110 incidents and four deaths caused by problems with the drop-sides. It is becoming clear from this and previous recalls that drop-side cribs are just inherently dangerous, either because of wear and tear, inadequate plastic components, or mistakes in assembly.
