Doctor can sue partners, but only for violation of civil rights
Marc Cullen, M.D., sued his partners after they attempted to force him to enter data on a computer billing and record system. He claimed that making these entries caused him to suffer severe headaches. Cullen and his partners had a binding arbitration agreement, however, so his claims were dismissed with the exception of his civil rights claim. That claim was viable because the arbitration agreement did not make reference to civil rights remedies.
