Injury claim against City of Bay City dismissed because of error in notice identifying location

Robert Graczyk sued the City of Bay City after he tripped and fell on a heaved section of sidewalk.  Unfortunately, when he served the city with notice of his fall, he identified the location of the fall as the "northeast" corner of Broadway and  21st Street, when the location was actually on the northwest corner.    The Court  of Appeals agreed with the circuit judge that this error in identifying the "exact location" of the fall within the statutory time limit required the dismissal of Graczyk's claim.
