Insurance companies and employers enjoy a five-for-five week: winning all cases
Looking back over the past couple days, the "special interest" domination of Michigan's courts has continued as insurance companies won all four injury or damage cases decided this week, and the employer won the solitary employment discrimination case appeal. As is typical, most of the cases were decided on summary disposition, with the courts applying legal rules interpretations to avoid the victims' theoretical Constitutional right to a jury trial.
