MSU student sues over E.coli in lettuce: should have shopped at Spartan foods

An MSU student has filed suit against Aunt Mid's Produce of Detroit, claiming she was poisoned by a toxic strain of E.coli that has stricken more than 30 people in Michigan.  The outbreak reportedly started at MSU and in the Lenawee County Jail and is related to institutional supply of lettuce.  The Defendant has also been tied to six illnesses in Illinois, according to the Free Press.  A spokesman for the Defendant denies the suit has merit.  The plaintiff suffered from bloody diarrhea and became dehydrated; E.coli 0157:H7 was ultimately identified as the problem.
