Reflex sympathetic dystrophy claim is sent back for jury ruling on serious impairment

A unanimous panel of the Court of Appeals overturned the Chippewa County Circuit Court's decision that Rebecca Fischer had not established a "serious impairment of bodily function."  She had submitted medical records and testimony from her doctor confirming his opinion that she was developing reflex sympathetic dystrophy, while the IME doctor employed by the defendants' insurer, Dr. David Gast, claimed thatshe had sustained no injury.
