Sixth Circuit rules that injured third-party widow has no direct action against negligent agent

The Federal Appeals Court panel for the Sixth Circuit ruled last month that under Michigan law, an injury victim has no direct action for negligence against an insurance agent who failing to procure insurance coverage.  The Case is Estate of Johnson v. Doodson Insurance Brokerage.
